SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB USB-C Flash Drive
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB is a compact two-in-one flash drive that makes it easy to transfer files between USB-C devices and computers with traditional USB-A ports. Both connectors are built into the drive, allowing you to move photos, presentations, documents and other everyday files without carrying an additional adapter.
With 64GB of portable storage, USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity and sequential read speeds of up to 300MB/s, this black flash drive provides a useful balance between capacity, portability and file-transfer performance.
Why Choose the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB?
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB is suitable for anyone who regularly works across different types of devices. Connect its USB-C side to a compatible phone, tablet or modern laptop, then rotate the drive to access its standard USB-A connector.
Files are transferred directly between the flash drive and the connected device. You do not need an internet connection or cloud-storage subscription to access the content saved on the drive.
USB-C and USB-A Connectivity
The reversible USB Type-C connector works with compatible phones, tablets, Mac computers and modern laptops. The standard USB Type-A connector works with many desktop computers, traditional laptops and other compatible devices.
| Connector | Common uses |
|---|---|
| USB Type-C | Compatible Android phones, tablets, modern laptops and Mac computers |
| USB Type-A | Desktop computers, traditional laptops and other compatible USB-A devices |
This dual-connector design is useful in offices, schools and homes where both modern USB-C equipment and conventional USB-A computers are still being used.
64GB Storage for Work, School and Personal Files
The 64GB capacity provides convenient portable space for presentations, assignments, scanned documents, selected photo collections, music and other frequently used files. It offers twice the listed capacity of the 32GB model, making it a better choice for users who need additional room without moving to a much larger drive.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB can also help free up space on a compatible USB-C phone or tablet. Move older photos and videos onto the drive, then connect it to a computer through USB-A for organisation or additional backup.
Actual usable storage will be lower than the advertised 64GB because some capacity is required for formatting and system functions.
Up to 300MB/s Sequential Read Speed
The drive offers sequential read performance of up to 300MB/s. This can make opening and copying supported files faster than with many entry-level USB flash drives.
A compatible USB 3.2 port is required to achieve the highest advertised performance. Actual speed varies according to the host device, interface, file type, usage conditions and other factors.
SanDisk does not provide a guaranteed write-speed figure for this model. Write performance is lower than the advertised read speed and varies according to the files and connected device.
Compatible with Phones, Tablets and Computers
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go works with compatible USB Type-C phones, tablets and laptops. SanDisk currently lists support for Android 10 or later, Windows 10 or later and macOS 12 or later.
A phone or tablet must support external USB storage. On compatible Android devices, files can normally be accessed, copied and organised through the device’s file-management application.
Manage Files with the SANDISK App
The SANDISK application can help manage, transfer and back up content between compatible devices and SanDisk storage products. Automatic backup can be configured for selected photos, videos, music, documents and contacts on compatible Windows and Mac computers.
The application requires a separate download and installation. Available functions may vary depending on the device, operating system and current app version.
Compact Capless Swivel Design
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB uses a rotating capless design that helps cover whichever connector is not currently being used. Because there is no removable cap, there is one less small accessory to lose.
The drive weighs approximately 6.5g and includes a built-in keyring hole. It can be attached to keys, a lanyard or a laptop bag for convenient everyday access.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB?
It is a portable 64GB flash drive with built-in USB-C and USB-A connectors. It is designed to transfer files between compatible phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
How fast is the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB?
It provides sequential read speeds of up to 300MB/s through a compatible USB 3.2 connection. Actual performance depends on the connected device, files and operating conditions.
What is its write speed?
SanDisk does not publish a guaranteed write-speed figure for model SDDDC3-064G-G46. Write speed is lower than the advertised 300MB/s read speed and varies by file and device.
Does it have both USB-C and USB-A connectors?
Yes. It has a reversible USB-C connector and a standard USB-A connector built into the same rotating body.
Can I connect it directly to an Android phone?
Yes, it supports compatible USB-C devices running Android 10 or later. The phone must also support external USB storage.
Does it work with Windows and Mac computers?
Yes. SanDisk lists compatibility with Windows 10 or later and macOS 12 or later. The computer must have a compatible USB-C or USB-A port.
Can I transfer files without an internet connection?
Yes. Files are transferred directly between the flash drive and connected device, so internet access is unnecessary.
Is 64GB suitable for photos and documents?
Yes. The 64GB capacity is suitable for documents, presentations, assignments, selected photo collections and everyday files. Large video libraries may require a higher-capacity drive.
What is the difference between the 32GB and 64GB versions?
The 64GB model provides twice the listed capacity of the 32GB model. It is also rated for read speeds of up to 300MB/s, compared with up to 150MB/s for the 32GB version.
Can the drive automatically back up files?
The separately installed SANDISK application can be configured to back up selected content on compatible Windows and Mac computers. Features may vary by operating system and app version.
Why does the usable capacity appear lower than 64GB?
Some capacity is required for formatting, and operating systems calculate storage differently from manufacturers. The available storage therefore appears below the advertised 64GB.
Does it require a separate USB adapter?
No. Both USB-C and USB-A connectors are built into the drive, so an additional adapter is normally unnecessary.
