SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB USB-C Flash Drive
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB is a compact two-in-one flash drive designed to move files between modern USB-C devices and computers with traditional USB-A ports. It combines both connectors in one durable metal drive, making it a practical choice for transferring photos, videos, documents and other everyday files without carrying an adapter.
With a read speed of up to 400MB/s, USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity and a premium silver finish, this 64GB USB-C flash drive is suitable for students, professionals, content creators and anyone who regularly works across phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
One Flash Drive with USB-C and USB-A
The main advantage of the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB is its dual-connector design. One end has a reversible USB Type-C connector for compatible phones, tablets and newer laptops. Rotate the drive to access the standard USB Type-A connector used by many desktop computers, laptops, smart televisions and other devices.
This design lets you transfer files between new and older devices without relying on cables, cloud storage or a separate USB adapter.
| Connector | Common uses |
|---|---|
| USB Type-C | Compatible Android phones, tablets, ultrabooks and modern laptops |
| USB Type-A | Desktop computers, traditional laptops, televisions and other compatible USB devices |
Fast Read Speeds of Up to 400MB/s
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB offers sequential read speeds of up to 400MB/s. This can reduce the time needed to open or copy large files when compared with many basic USB drives.
Reaching the maximum advertised speed requires a compatible USB 3.2 port. Actual performance varies according to the host device, file size, file type, available capacity and other operating conditions. SanDisk specifies the read speed for this model but does not publish a guaranteed write speed.
Free Up Space on Compatible USB-C Devices
Running short of space on your phone or tablet can make it difficult to capture more photos and videos. Connect the drive to a compatible USB-C device, move files onto it and transfer them to a computer through the USB-A connector when convenient.
The drive supports compatible devices running Android 10 or later. The phone or tablet must support external USB storage, and some devices may require you to use their built-in file manager to copy content.
Useful for Work, School and Everyday Storage
The 64GB capacity provides portable space for presentations, assignments, photographs, music, work documents and selected video files. Its small size makes the drive easy to keep in a laptop bag, pocket or on a keyring.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB is particularly useful for people who work with more than one type of device. You can prepare a presentation on a USB-C laptop, open it on a USB-A office computer or carry essential files while travelling.
Premium Metal Swivel Design
The all-metal casing gives the SanDisk Dual Drive Luxe a clean, professional appearance. Its swivel mechanism covers whichever connector is not being used and helps protect the connectors while the drive is stored.
A built-in keyring hole lets you attach the drive to keys, a lanyard or a bag. The drive weighs approximately 12.2g, so it remains easy to carry throughout the day.
Desktop Backup with the SanDisk App
SanDisk provides an application that can help automatically back up selected photos, videos, music, documents and contacts on compatible computers. The application must be downloaded and installed separately.
For Android phones and tablets, files can be moved using a compatible file-management application. Available features may vary by device and operating system.

It is a portable 64GB flash drive with both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. It is designed to transfer files between compatible phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
Does the SanDisk Dual Drive Luxe have both USB-C and USB-A?
Yes. Its swivel design provides one reversible USB-C connector and one standard USB-A connector, so an additional adapter is normally unnecessary.
How fast is the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB?
It provides sequential read speeds of up to 400MB/s through a compatible USB 3.2 connection. Actual speed depends on the host device, files and operating conditions.
What is its write speed?
SanDisk does not publish a guaranteed write-speed figure for this 64GB model. The advertised 400MB/s figure refers to sequential read performance.
Can I use this flash drive with an Android phone?
Yes, it supports compatible USB-C devices running Android 10 or later. The phone must support external USB storage, and files may need to be managed through the phone’s file manager.
Does it work with Windows and Mac computers?

Can it automatically back up my files?
The separately downloaded SanDisk desktop application can automatically back up selected content on compatible Windows and Mac computers. Features and operating-system requirements may change with the application version.
