SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB USB-C Flash Drive
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB is a premium two-in-one flash drive for transferring files between modern USB-C devices and computers with traditional USB-A ports. Its dual-connector design makes it easy to move photos, videos, presentations and other important files without carrying an additional USB adapter.
With 128GB of portable storage, an all-metal silver body and read speeds of up to 400MB/s, this USB-C flash drive is a practical option for professionals, students, travellers and content creators who regularly work across phones, tablets and computers.
Why Choose the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB?
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB combines generous storage, fast file access and broad device compatibility in a compact design. One end connects to compatible USB-C devices, while the other connects to conventional USB-A ports.
This means you can copy files from a compatible phone or tablet, rotate the drive and open those files on a laptop or desktop computer. The transfer does not require an internet connection or cloud-storage subscription.
USB-C and USB-A in One Flash Drive
The reversible USB Type-C connector works with compatible phones, tablets and newer laptops. The standard USB Type-A connector works with many desktop computers, traditional laptops and other devices equipped with a USB-A port.
| Connector | Common uses |
|---|---|
| USB Type-C | Compatible Android phones, tablets, Mac computers and modern laptops |
| USB Type-A | Desktop computers, traditional laptops and other compatible USB devices |
128GB Storage for Photos, Videos and Documents
The 128GB capacity provides convenient space for work documents, presentations, photographs, music, educational materials and selected video collections. It offers twice the listed storage capacity of the 64GB version, making it better suited to users who regularly transfer larger files or keep more content with them.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB can also help free up space on a compatible phone or tablet. Move older photos and videos onto the drive, then connect it to a computer through USB-A for organisation or long-term storage.
Up to 400MB/s Sequential Read Speed
With sequential read speeds of up to 400MB/s, the drive can open and copy supported files faster than many basic USB flash drives. A compatible USB 3.2 port is required to achieve the highest advertised performance.
Actual performance varies depending on the host device, file size, usage conditions and other factors. SanDisk does not publish a guaranteed write-speed figure for this particular model, so the 400MB/s specification should only be described as its maximum sequential read speed.
Compatible with Phones, Tablets and Computers
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe supports compatible USB Type-C devices, including phones, tablets and laptops. SanDisk currently lists support for Android 10 or later, Windows 10 or later and macOS 12 or later.
A phone or tablet must support external USB storage. On compatible Android devices, files can normally be accessed and transferred using the built-in file-management application.
Manage and Back Up Files with the SANDISK App
The SANDISK application can help you manage, transfer and back up content between compatible devices and SanDisk storage products. Automatic backup can be configured for selected photos, videos, music, documents and contacts on compatible Mac and Windows computers.
The application must be downloaded and installed separately. Available features may differ depending on the device, operating system and current application version.
Durable All-Metal Swivel Design
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 128GB uses a high-quality metal housing with a rotating design. The swivel mechanism helps cover the connector that is not currently in use, reducing the chance of connector damage while the drive is carried or stored.
Its integrated keyring hole allows the drive to be attached to keys, a lanyard or a laptop bag. At approximately 12.2g, it remains light enough for everyday portable use.
